H3Lab – Exploring indigenous perspectives on gender

June 30 @ 8:30 pm - 10:00 pm BST

Kaja Kippenberg will lead this first session: Exploring gender through indigenous perspectives

Indigenous wisdom states that the brain thinks, the heart knows …. and so, to transform our human presence on the planet, we have to teach heart! To see the world through the eye of the heart, and connect to the intelligence of the body.

Please join this experiential session centred on indigenous perspectives on gender as an expression of the duality of the feminine and the masculine. We will use the vehicle of emotion to explore how we each relate to the topic through the sensory instrumentarium of our bodies – seeing, hearing, feeling, sensing, experiencing.

Encouraging our brain minds to step aside, we move into a place of observation without judgment.

Please bring paper and pens to take notes and draw. The session is inspired by the work of the Presencing Institute (Otto Scharmer) and is built around writings by indigenous leaders.
